We install grid-connected and off-grid battery systems which store solar energy to reduce reliance on the grid and fossil fuels. We have been at the cutting edge of battery installation in the UK and have installed over fifty battery systems in homes for research projects. We are still investigating if the use of grid connected domestic battery systems results in a reduction of lifecycle carbon or ecological footprint.
We now install batteries such as the Tesla Powerwall so that homeowners can maximise their use of solar and have grid back-up in the event of power-cuts.
We install off-grid systems for sites without a grid connection.
